Baby Bloom Newborn Care
○ the situation
Baby Bloom is Rhode Island’s premier newborn care agency. They provide new parents with support, tools, education and guidance with newborn care. Founder, Tyler Lucchese, came to me looking to help her establish her brand vision. With a variety of services including baby planning, overnight care, and lactation services, Tyler needed a full branding package that included logo design, service icons, color theory, and typography.
As an advanced certified Newborn Care Specialist, Tyler helps new parents “bloom into parenthood.”
● the solution
“Bloom into parenthood” was the driving force behind the creative direction. Every aspect of the Baby Bloom brand stemmed from the concept of a young sprout, representative of both the journeys of the parents and the baby. I wanted to create a brand mark that fit within the newborn space that felt friendly and professional, appealing to new parents. The final outcome features a custom wordmark that feels unique, soft, and trustworthy. The “b sprouts” are used as icons on social media and design elements throughout the brand. The playful line-drawn icons are simple and effective in communicating the wide range of services and can be used on the website and in social media applications.

◆ conclusion
It was very important to create a professional, established look and feel for Baby Bloom in order to ensure a sense of trust with new clients looking to hire a newborn care specialist. The Baby Bloom brand design has given Tyler (Baby Bloom founder), all of the tools she needs to successfully grow her business. With a strong online and social media presence, the Baby Bloom brand is well on its way to becoming a household name within the newborn care industry.
